These recipes were recovered from an attic in an old farm house that collected handwritten recipes from the 1800s forward to about the 1980s. A lot of them appear to have been exchanged at church gatherings and pot lucks. There is another container with newspaper clippings, magazine clippings and many other clippings for recipes. Over 400+ handwritten recipes are included and over 1000 clippings are in this collection with many rare old recipe books and inserts included in this collection. Included with this gift set are many authentic farmers magazines and seed packets, as well as canning recipe books and rare pamphlets from the 1940s.
Includes one antique jar, not to be used with pressure cooker for decorative use only and one mason jar for use with canning.
**Flickering candle, drawer, metal tin and primitive pot for display only and not included in gift set. Everything else pictured included in gift set.

Why do your items have minor imperfections?
We sell authentic vintage and antique clothing that are actually found in attics and barns and are of the highest quality but can have minor imperfections. They are sold as is. They are very old, and will show normal signs of age, and wear. We try to photograph this for the customer as best as we can.
Sizing details
Why are your sizes not listed on all of your garments? Simply because some of the garments were custom made and do not have tags or are old enough that tags were not customary for that time period. We do not have a specific size, but will estimate the best we can. If there is an issue with size, we will happily accept a return within 14 days of purchase.
Care instructions
Each garment must be handled as the care tag states where applicable, and I would highly recommend when possible having a professional handle the cleaning and care or at least consulting a professional or researching the care before cleaning the garment on your own.

Vintage gift wrap can be available at additional cost at request to shop owner depending on the size, weight and dimensions of packaging.
Patches, holes, rips, minor spots, tears?
These are part of the character that add to the charm of these clothing. We never state that these clothing are free from any of these things. Some customers like the more the better when it comes to patches and character and some like their garments in mint condition. We try to list imperfections or conditions of our garments so the customer can decide for themselves. These garments are listed "AS IS" and are sold in their found condition. Many of our garments are in perfect mint condition as well. We do our very best to list ANY and ALL imperfections but from time to time we may miss something.
